Wisconsin engine parts for baler

I"ve got a NH-66 baler that still works great. But I"d like to do some restoration/maintenance on the 2 cyl Wisonsin engine on it. It"s a TFD.

I can"t find the parts I need for it. I want the clear plastic (?) pre-filter for the air cleaner, and a rebuild kit for the fuel pump. Probably some other small stuff, but those are the things I "need" soonest. I have the parts numbers...

Anybody have any ideas or know of sources? thanks!

Try your local NAPA.Talk to the old man who has been there 'forever'.You would be surprised on what/how much NAPA can get......

The air cleaner part is 72305, pre-cleaner assembly.

The hose is 72382, hose connection.

The fuel pump kit is 72630, Diaphragm service kit.

All these parts numbers are out of the NH Service Parts Catalog for the baler.

hah hah, yeah he's working on it, but has been for about a week now without luck...which is unusual. So I'm trying other alternatives.

OK I may have found the parts you are looking for. Having some trouble with the air cleaner.
Contact me through my E-mail at bottom right and we can maybe figure this out.

good luck on the clear plastic aircleaner part! I've been searching for quite a while myself.

You'll occasionally see a whole air cleaner assembly on ebay - just be patient. That'll probably be your only chance.

The problem is, if you're restoring it - anything you find is going to be very yellowed, cracked, and well worn. Plastic just doesn't last.

I've been considering trying to find a source for a cylindrical piece of clear plastic as a substitute, but I haven't tried too hard yet.

Ditto on the fuel pump rebuild kit. Watch ebay. You might find a new old stock kit. But they discontinued that diaphragm part a long time ago.

If you're patient, you'll eventually find something.

Here is the # for Cullum/Brown in Wichita, Kansas. They are a Wisconsin service center and might be able to help you 800-362-3222. Replaced the plastic dust collector on a vg4d about
3 years ago and found it at the local IH dealer but don't remember what it fit (maybe a 460) if that is any help.

When my fuel pump went out I elevated the fuel tank on the baler so that it was a gravity feed to the engine. I used it that was for years without any trouble.

One source for the clear plastic, although far from original, is the plastic drum that comes with blank computer CD's on a spindle (just cut out the top of it).
