Hesston 6450 Swather

Hey folks, I have the opportunity to buy a 6450 Hesston with 16' auger header with crimper. It is powered by a Chrysler Slant 6 and has always been shedded. Has anyone been around these Hesstons? Are they good machines? What would this type of machine be worth. Also, if i was to buy it, I would need to sell my 6400 Hesston with draper header. It's in great condition with good canvases and a good running slant 6. What would it be worth?

Darn good machines,bullet proof engine.There are a bazillion out there.I dont know of anything bad to say.....As for local value,talk to alocal implement dealer.Find out hi/low...Look on 'TractorHouse'

ow wide is the crimper?
If it is only 4' wide then it will do poor in crimping in a regular to heavy crop.
