3206 CASE DISC MOWER GEAR BOX PROBLEM

3206 CASE DISC MOWER, LILLY GEAR BOX, IN THE BOX YOU HAVE 3 VERTICAL GEARS, THE CENTER GEAR IS HELT IN PLACE BY A PILOT BOLT, WHICH HAS LEFT HANDED THREADS. THE THREADS ARE WORE OUT. WILL NOT TIGHTEN UP. MY QUESTION??? CAN THE GEAR BOX BE DRILLED OUT AND A HELICOIL BE SCREWED IN. THAT WILL EXCEPT A NEW PILOT BOLT.

Relative witha Lely disc mower says the helicoil with a new bolt might work. He has had that problem and came up with another gearbox case.

do you still have the old gearbox off of the 3206 disk mower?i need the gears inside and would buy the box off you if want to get rid of it?please email me back thanks
