1465 Haybine plugging problem

I have a 1465 that has less than 500 acres thru it, I have had plugging issues on the outside end of the conditioner since I bought it, the previous owner had only put about 70 acres thru it before he passed. I noticed this weekend while clearning it out yet again that there is not any kind of shield or deflector on the header going into the conditioners on my machine, there is on on the PTO side, but not the other. There are bolt holes on the header which makes me think there should be something there, Anyone else have one here that could check yours and post a picture if yours has a shield or deflector? I have checked the parts schematics and there is nothing shown and the dealer can't find a part? I may have to cut down an old tire or something?

I already did, they have nothing in their files
regarding a shield or deflector on the non pto side,
and they do not have one in their yard to look at.
I checked a few local dealers, no one has one on
their yard either. Hoping that someone here has one
and can confirm if or what is missing on it.

Sounds like you need what is called a "Crop Divider". Two bolt attachment; about $50 at NH dealer. A must for tall crops.

Already has one. The problem appears to be where the header meets the rolls, there is a gap that appears as though it should be covered by either a shield or a rubber flap to deflect the hay thru the rollers, it gets bound up there then clogs up.

It should not be that hard to fashion a shield from sheet metal using the other one as a guide.

Here are pictures of the problem area.
