JD 567

Thinking of buying a 2003 JD 567 (mega wide pickup, bale pusher, hydr lift pickup, silage kit,...19000 bales on the counter, shedded )
Gonna have a look tomorrow,..guy wants $13500.
Is that price fair?
Anything special as far as weak points and wear and tear i should look for in these balers?.

Belt wear? How much of the three layers of the diamond pattern are left. If less than two, they will have to be replaced or you have trouble starting bales.

Side sheets worn thin? I have a set of wear liners.

I wouldn't sell my 467 with netwrap non-silage,18,000 bales on monitor for $17,500. If bale starting is a problem a little welding on starter roll is cheaper than a set of belts. My baler will eat hay with original belts but it has added bars by me on starter roll.

I bought the baler!. got it for 13 thou
It is in great shape and has the silage kit on it.
The side sheets have factory wear sheets(part of the silage kit)
The belts look like new.
Only thing i had to do was shim the endgate latches.
I baled 17 bales tonight without a glitch.

I think I'm gonna like it
