On the side with the wide Vs belt, there is a roller chain that goers through 2 12?in gear wheels or sprocket wheels. On the back of the lower sprocket, and for a spaceing of 6 teeth, the chain humps up. Very little on tooth 1 and 6, but progressively more till the middle of those sprockets. That tells me that its the wrong size chain, but it has VERY little side ways slop, and perhaps even a hair less on the idler sprocket inside the teeth. The chain has some red paint on it leading me to think it is NH chain, but as I said, when running, it hops at a certain point. I thought the chain was just rusted up, so I oiled it good, THEn sprayed it with a oil spray, then tried to hit it with a hammer lightly to break up the stiffness and let the spray work. Then I took it out at that point, and found a center piece between the teeth was bad, and took that out, and shortened up the chain by 2 lengths as the idler was almost touching the bottom gear wheel.
