Deere Gyramor 307 (rotary cutter)

I seem to have broken the shaft on my JD rotary cutter. My local dealer says the part number is AW812813 and he can't get it. It's been a great mower and I'm not ready to give up on it. Any suggestions on where to find the part?

The correct PN is AW12813 for blade shaft. Part isn't available at Parts Dept but you might get JD dealer to check other dealers stock.

If you still have the old one, take it with you to a driveshaft shop. They may be able to fabricate a replacement.

Thanks! I thought I might be able to find someone to make me a new one. I still have the old one, broken as it is!

So, my parts guy said he did check other dealers but I don't know how far outside the area he checked. I'm in New England so I was wondering if another region might have more of these parts floating around...what do you think?
