Air in tire queston on IHC simi mount mower

How much air should go into a rubber tire on a simi mount IHC sickle mower. Im guessing around 15lbs

I would go with that if it holds the implement up ok.
I had to put more air pressure than that in my old 1948 john Deere semi mount corn picker rear trail tire, it finally cracked and busted.

When I tried to replace it that is when I found out it was a size 9" tire. Who would have thought that years ago most small implement tires were 9" tires.

Wonder why the industry changed to a more std size of 8" tires.
