Bush Hog Cutter model 2510 help with changing seals

I have a 90 something model maybe a 92 or 96 cant remember lol. anyway the seal went out on cross shaft that hooks to the center gearbox. How hard is it to replace and how do i go about changing it. this is the first seal i have ever had to change.

ok after more looking iv found that the seal is a Rubber Element
inside the joint. to replace the whole thing is over 850 bucks and i cannot seem to find just the Rubber Element. So has any one else have any dealings with this that can me out on what my options are besides replacing the whole thing which wont happen for awhile lol/
