Rain ovrrnight -whoo eee!

5 1/2 inches in a couple hours overnight. Roads flooded, potholes in fields flooded. A dry swamp overflowing. Septic system flowed backwards sending gasses back through trap in bathtub. Never had that one happen before.

Guess I won't be cutting hay this morning!

Wow, that's a lot of Rain! I think we got about 2" overnight. Glad I got the hay baled yesterday, 98 rounds down, about 120 to go... Wish the forecast was better, may get to cut again Wednesday Night.

And here I was feeling sorry for myself. I hadn't heard any official reports from up your way but I'd heard you got more. What I had heard was that you'd got up to two and a half. I thought I had topped you.
Yep,still 55 acres of hay to cut here and some round bales to move off the field.
You sure hate to complain about rain in July don't you?

We got lucky and the heavy rains missed us. Going to try getting another 4 loads or so today before tomorrow's weather shows up.

We got that a week ago Sunday night, washed out most of the bridges around here.
