JD 1207 Mower Conditioner rolls

Just bought a 1207 at a neighbors farm sale. It looks good except the rolls are nearly worn out (a few pieces of rubber missing here and there. Of course this throws them out of balance.

Does anyone out there make new rolls? Or does anyone have any decent used 7' rolls for sale? Salvage yards?

I would appreciate any advice on this.

All it takes is money.

Lots and lots of money......

Way more money than you ever will want to spend on it.....

This place rebuilds them, but for what they charge, you'll wish you'd left that thing set right where you got it.

When I bought my 1207 there was some rubber missing but a lot more wrong with it. I replace a few parts each year and it runs better each time but I loose a little more rubber each season. Last week I cut about 3 acres of light hay and lost four more chunks. It's about 50%. Last time I checked with mother deere they were $1300 each. Use it the way it is. For me, conditioning isn't that critical.

The place in Oregon quoted my $2700 door to door with new conditioned rollers.

There is a 1209 on the dealer website close by with what appear to be good rollers for only $950...I'm going to check it out.
