model 30 kicker

I have a jd 336 baler with a 30 kicker it go s up but won t come down I can bring it down by hand don t know whats wrong with it thanks cdv

Valve spool is not shifting fully back to the home position, or the spring inside the cylinder is broken.

The pan is returned to the home position by the spring throwing it back home.

To help the spool, carefully remove the detent cap , catch all the pieces and clean and lubricate the internal parts.

Be very careful when around the pan, etc, with the machine running!!!!
