John Deere 145 Loader removal without stand

Thanks to this site, I took the gamble on advice to take my 145 loader off my JD 1520...as I do not have the factory stand for removal. It worked perfect! Takes about 75lb of lift force from your arms and it counterbalances perfect on the bucket face. I do tie off to the barn posts for safety. Advise it to be a two person job to lift off mounts. Just thought I'd share this success. First time loader has been off since new in 1973! Appreciate the advice from the pros here at this forum. Kev
