Trying to do an R&R on a deere unit planter.Attempting to remove ring gear stud. Mother Deere shows all sorts of planters having the same stud, it's slotted with the cut off plate held to it by a thumb screw. my question is this; it looks to be threaded, if so is it a normal right hand twist or left. have wire brushed it soaked in wd40, started to "tap" with hammer & drift, no movement. If I put the torch to it will it loosen or am i missing something?
