Rake identification

Can anyone ID this rake? I can't find any tags on it and it's been repainted (heavy) so all the decals are buried. I tried to find one like it on Tractor House but none match it. Thanks for any help.

That didn't take long. Thanks DeltaRed. Do you happen to know if they're any good? It looks a lot heavier than my current New Idea. No belt to slip either.

Neighbor buoght one at a sale this spring.Looks exactly like yours.Seems to work just fine. The other guy says Allis Chalmers.Could be....I could be wrong on the MF thing

I guess all I needed was pointed in the right direction. LOL. It is an Allis-Chalmers 77 for sure. I knew I could count on you guys. Thanks for all the help on this one.

Where in PA are you? CJ Wonsidler sold a pile of those rakes from his 3 locations back in the day. Oley, Quakertown, and New Tripoli.

Tim; I'm in Cambria Couny, rake is 12 miles away in Indiana County. This rake is for sale but has some issues. Seller is asking $800. Would have bit but noticed that the 2 bolts that hold the gear box onto the mounting bracken are broken. Looks like an easy fix but may be a weak point on these machines. One lift cable is also broken. It is a 5 bar where my New Idea is a 4. Again it looks heavy duty with 6 bolt wheels and that gear box is a little over kill but nothing wrong with that. Wondering if anyone is familiar with these rakes. Thank you.

if you look at the picture I posted closely, you"ll notice a support bracket under the gearbox that appears to be missing from the rake in your picture. Bolts broke when the basket hit the ground hard after the cable snapped maybe?
