Massey ferguson #9 10 baler needles

I was wondering if anyone can help answer a question regarding these balers. I own a Massey ferguson #9 baler and I have broke a needle again. It is hard to find a needle for it but I have located a Massey ferguson #10 baler for cheap for parts. But are the needles the same for these two models. The 10 is a 3 hour drive from me so don't want to go to it only to find the needles are different

I will have to look, I was given a bunch of 10 parts including needles, was told they fit our 9. Guy that had them got a 124 and was running a 9 before.

Per AGCO parts they are they same part number.

9 baler needles - 687004m1
10 baler needles - 687004m1

Before you replace the needle again, find out what'a breaking them. Why doesn't the plunger stop do its thing?
