Looking for price range on a John Deere 1209 swather

Hello
I was looking to see if anyone knew what a reasonable price range would be on a John Deere 1209 swather. It has a conditioner, 9 1/2 foot sickle, and hydraulics. I have been told it is "field ready". I am unsure of the year, as is the seller. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I've seen them priced from $1000-$3000. Be sure the wobble mounting bracket has no cracks or new(added) welds as cracked brackets have been known to give problems. Also be sure rubber is good on conditioner rollers.

Those machines are close to 40 years old, so you may
want to really look at it closely for rotten metal,
thin spots, and bearing play. That's the best side.
The rubber on the rolls is hard to really look at,
and can cost several thousand to replace. They were
a great machine in their day. I traded mine for a
discbine over 20 years ago and haven't looked back.

Takes a pretty good machine to top $1500 in my area. I know
of several needing work that sold for $500-$800 on farm
auctions in recent years. MN is where I'm located.

I paid 1600 dollars for a 1219 that looks pretty straight this spring. The wobble seems nice and tight but have not gotten it into the field. Maybe early next week.
