Manure spreader manufacture?

I purchased a used spreader with no decal or makers plate that I can find. The man I bought it from thought it is a Kelly Ryan, but I can not find any makers plate on it. There are no decals any more from it sitting outside for years. It looks very much like a Kelly Ryan, dimensions seem to match as well. I did find a serial number (I thought)and contacted Kelly Ryan yesterday and talked to a rep. He felt it is not one of theirs because the smaller one like mine did not come with tandem axles and he could not find a match with the number I gave him. He did say that there was another manufacturer in the area that used to build spreaders that looked very much like theirs, but he couldn't remember the name. If any one has an idea I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks

Pictures? There were lots of short brand manufacturers. H&S , Meyers Kuhn knight come to mind.

I don't have any way of posting pictures right now but there is one that looks almost identical on TractorShed.com in implement photos listed Kelly Ryan manure spreader. The only really obvious difference is mine has tandem axles instead of a single one.

The neighbor had one just like the one in the picture and his was a tandem axle. His was a Minneapolis Moline.

OOPs, got it wrong. Made by L. Schultz MFG.

Racline, Il or Waterloo, Iowa

Just a hint to follow, made spreaders for various brands including MF.
