Rotary cutter id please

This is a 5' cutter, it is not mine, it belongs to a friend, it is new to him. Can you id the brand for future parts that might be needed. It seems straight to me, except the lower seal is most likely shot. I told him to check it and fill with corn header grease if it's not going to hold gear oil. It will not see much heavy use. What brand is it? It is red with a white or yellow pto shaft. Looks well built, and not too abused, but no tags or casting that I can find. (this is also my first attempt to post pics here so be kind please)

Have no idea on make But the way you posted the pictures is ideal, unobstructed view and full unit from all angles and with key parts in clear focus. Wish everybody that posts a picture could take lessons from you. Most of the pictures you cannot see enough to even make out what they are trying to post on.

Can't help with an ID, but had a similar problem years ago with a no-name cutter. Took the seals and bearings in and found they were pretty generic, had no problem getting replacements.

Contact Curt Howard Equipment in London, OH. They also have a website. I just bought a 6' machine same make. They have parts. BTW, how did you remove the blade assembly?

The way we did it was to take the cotter pin out, use an impact to losen the center nut, leave it on the shaft at least half of it. We tried pry bars, with no luck, then used a hydraulic ram with a porter power on one side of the plate, and a wedge on the other side, and it popped right lose. We had the mower raised with a forklift. Blades are now sharp and ready to put back on.

i have the exact same one(not near as good of shape)it is a huskee sold by tractor supply years ago.they are a good machine but hard to get anyone there that even knows they actually sold those at one time. it is an m-100 model # IIRC I did get the seal you mention from tsc with some back and forth "talks" and after I found someone that would actually try to help.they do carry blades in stock.good luck.

It's a World Agritech Corp, (WAC) IM series mower, a IM500 for a 5' cut or a IM600 for a 6' cut mower. Also known as the International Line. The gearbox is a ITG brand gearbox model 01-008. If you pm me I will be glad to give you seal dimensions and a drawing of the gearbox.
