Mustard weed

Anyone having or had a problem with mustard weed in their hayfields. I had it show up two years ago. Just a small amount, last year quite a bit more, this year it has totally taken over my alfalfa/grass hayfield. What can be done? Next time I seed alfalfa I'm gonne use round-up ready seed. This has been frustrating. gobble

tomturkey, Regular ol Yellow flower mustard can be sprayed and Killed when it is Damm little just a small green patch on top of the ground in Dec, Jan here in Texas and High plains just a sniff of 24D will kill it grave yard dead!
BUT If you let it get any size at all and Straight 24D poured on the plant directly will Have no Effect on it!!! It has to be Identified EARLY and Sprayed Early on,,No 2 ways about it. Or shredd it down before it sets seed! as early as possible but that wont Kill it just give some control! Hope this helps!
