Any companies still make moleboard plows?

A guy told me that there are no more plows being made in the US anymore. I know that there are some horsedrawn ones being made. But how about others.

Salford are very popular around here, many dealers picked them up.

Saw a new Kuhn last year as well.

I & J Manufacturing out of PA makes 1, & 2 row Horse Drawn, & 3pt plows. Just about any of big retail farm outlets (TSC, Rural King; etc.) still sell 1, & 2 bottoms. Kuhn makes 2 - 7 bottom mounted, & semi mounted in both 1 way, & rollover styles. Other than horse drawn, I don"t know of any pull types being made today unless the John Deere is classified as such. JD still makes new ones!

In the northeast, plowing is still a way of life. It seems that the most popular new plows are the Kvernelands. The price of admission is very high but the job that they do is very good. We rarely see Salford or other new plows.

Kverneland is the main player in that market today, followed closely by Kuhn and Salford. My opinion... if you want a plow, but Kverneland.

Each time I visit the John Deere dealer with my son I have noticed new sets of small one and two plows on the lot.

The are branded as Frontier: look well built

Otherwise you are off to aftermarket, small farm stores, tsc, etc:

Other companies may be able to order plows, but it may be special order.

I believe a smart person could be buying all the good plows that are cheap right now. After people realize how bad this poisoning and no till planting is . There will be a huge market for plows. Just my opinion.

not with scrap prices being high,,,,I know the side line equipment companys make them and deere does also.
