NH 273 and 275 pickups interchange???

I have a New Holland 273 baler and my brothers in laws have a 275 for parts.. My baler has the standard pickup and the 275 is a super sweep. I was wondering if they will interchange so I can put the super sweep on the 273 I am using?

If the unit is the same width,I see no reason why it would not interchange.Look closely,and do a bit of measureing.Good luck!

I think the shaft and fingers are the same.The shields should interchange also.It ain't a hard job but will take a little time and an extra pair of hands helps too.

I always thought the 273 had the Supersweep available. was the big difference from 276/278.

Available, but not standard equipment.

SuperSweep pickup frame part # 238480 is listed for both the 275 and 273 with SuperSweep. Should swap without too much angst.

Thanks Rick... and guys.. That's the answer I was looking for. The balers are 80 miles apart and I wanted to know for sure they would work before I went through the work of dragging it home.
