1875-1890 Silver Deming straw chopper

Just picked up a Silver & Deming Manufacturing Co. straw chopper and noticed it is missing one knife and 1 cast knife mount, does anyone have one or know where I could find one. I would like to get it operational again.

Those were called corn stalk choppers and a unit that looked like that (never knew a make) Grandpa used to cut tobacko. And I had to help with that and what he had only ever had one knife and other machines I have seen that were simular also only had one knife. If the head is balanced then yours also only had one knife but if way out of balance bight have had extras.

I pulled up the original patent from the u.s. patent office, it is listed as a straw cutter, looks like it should have two knives, maybe I can have a friend in a machine shop make me something.
