STAR Mfg. Plow Share Part Number- Info Request

Does anyone out there have a STAR catalog, cross reference list, or parts list that will allow to decode their numbering system. I've got a fair bunch of their older type blacksmith shares but probably half of them I'm not sure what brand plow bottom they fit. An example is SBX 14. It has 3 bolts on the face of the share and one bolt through the gunnel or landside portion.

I would be willing to pay for this information.

You should take close up pictures of the plow shares and accurate measurements of the hole spacing. Some one may be able to use them on here. Hal

I've got a 70's era STAR book, but there's not really any "code" to the part numbers. Looks like OE numbers in that catalog to me, at least the manufacturer' numbers I recognize. Some blade shares with a 7- prefix were their HD "Land Blaster" shares. I don't see SBX 14 listed in that book. The book says they started making plow parts in 1873. Could be a real oldie.

I may have some earlier STAR literature hidden away, but it's "somewhere where I don't know where it is" right now. Got to get those bookshelves built and my parts catalogs organized this summer.
