Starting spring plowing tomorrow

Only problem is that it will be with the snow bucket, not the moldboard. We are in NW Wis about 80 miles NE of Mpls/Stp .Weather people were predicting 6-10" in a narrow band with pockets of 12-16". They seem to be right. Just came in from the shop abit ago and many drifts were nearly to my knees. Hate to have to plow with mud underneath but is too much to try to drive in. Try not to dig up too much dirt but if I do I tell folks I don't charge extra for landscaping. Happy spring to everyone.

They were predicting 6"-10" overnight for us (Ladysmith)... got less than 1" on top of the 4"-5" we got yesterday. OK with me. I heard the Hayward area got close to 18".
Won't have to use it, but I DID leave the snowblower on the tractor, just in case.

I plowed one of my plots yesterday afternoon and another this morning. Fairly light ground.

Around here most of the plow guys are landscapers the rest of the year. Job security.

(quoted from post at 10:03:17 04/17/14) Just heard parts of the U.P. got 17 inches.

Had about 18" at my place by the time all was said and done yesterday afternoon. Lovely weather.

Must be close to 360 inches total for the season. And last year we had like 20" in May...
