These are from an IH club at the Farm and Ranch show here 2 weeks ago. The planter was hooked to a "B". I asked if it would pull it and he said it would if you didn't put in the ground to deep. The plow is kind of interesting. He bought for the tractor and it came with it. He has went to 2 plow days that were both in the sod. He said it would pull it, but it was very hard on the touch control because it racked it around pretty good. He was afraid of breaking it. I will leave the IH cow to you. Never heard of one. Sorry for the fingers, but it was so bright out, I could not see anything on the screen.

Dad bought an IH freezer like that one, only bigger. It lasted over 30 years before my brother replaced it.

Rick, Haven't heard of IHC Cows either.

Guy is just having fun. He is die hard IH man and he is saying cows are so content, well cared for, and well fed because of IH equipment that they give more milk.

If he was die hard Deere, Ford or other brand fan and one of those other companys made milking equipment he would have the big bucket named Deere, Ford, or some other brand, Cows.

Bill

IH cows is the milk side. Other cows is the cream side. Could infer that IH cows do not give cream! Cream rises to the top and that spout for other cows is the top spout.

That reminds me of a story Dad used to tell about when he was in High School. The ag teacher was a Registered Holstein guy and there was a die hard Jersey guy in the class. The teacher used to say that you could milk a Jersey and drop a pea in the bucket and still see the pea. The implication being that the Jersey didn't give enough to cover the bottom of the pail. The Jersey guy would say that you could milk a Holstein and drop a pea in the bucket and still see the pea too because the Holstein's milk was like water.

had 1 of the IHC cream separators, The darn gears exploded 1 night while dad was separating. He bought a new DeLavel the next day.

We had a neighbor (Kenny) that milked Jerseys. Another neighbor said Kenny couldn"t put in a pipeline milker unless he tied a knot in each cow"s tail......otherwise they"d get sucked up into the pipeline!

Something doesn't look right about that Touch Control Setup??? Mine isn't set up that way AT ALL. Looks to me like someone found a nice C-294 Plow and decided to put it on a tractor that didn't have the "correct" equipment for it?? Here is a picture of how mine is set up, the power rod comes along the left side of the tractor, to the brackets that are mounted to the axles, and then crosses to the right side where it picks up the plow...

Oh well, as long as it works right?!?! Bryce

I forgot to down load the front picture. I know nothing about this type of plow, but it looked to me like it was really jury rigged. He using the arm off the right side touch control to adjust the depth.

Ya, something is not right there, here is a picture of the front half of mine. You can see that there is a triangle shaped "quick connect" basically you can just flip those two clip things over and drive away from the plow, but the piece that is hooked on the torque tube and bell housing stays on the tractor.

I think the set up on mine is very good, mainly because it puts all of the draft onto the middle section of the tractor, and in theory should boost traction, all the Touch Control does is pick it out of the ground... His looks like the TC is doing most of the grunt work, and that will probably end up breaking something! Bryce
