Oliver 207 Rake Bar Bearing

Looking my old rake over today, and I see I'm going to need 2 of the bearings that attach the tine bars to the wheels.
Local Agco dealer is beyond worthless with anything Oliver, and their a chain that has the whole area. Nowhere else close.
Anyone have a part #, or aftermarket bearing # that will work?

Take the 'remains' of a bearing to a bearing
house,or your local NAPA.If a PN is visible/intact
they can cross it. They can measure the parts and
get the right bearing.I buy few to no bearings at
the dealers.Napa and the bearing houses can get
anything that is needed.Cheaper than the dealer, and
right here in town.

Call Jerry at Ag Parts First. 1-866-9720

If they are still availible Jerry can get them. He's pretty good on the Oliver stuff.

I did a 307. replaced all the tine bar bearings. I did what delta red said . Took an old bearing to local auto parts store and they measured the old one and came up with ones that worked. seems like we couldn't get an exact match, but it was close. If I remember right I had to add a washer to each one get the right thickness, but it worked out well. have used it for several years now.

Thanks guys. Got bolts soaking for a few days, and will try to get things apart over the coming weekend.
I'll try to see what I can match up.
Doug, what is a 307 like? Never seen one.

Looks like an ordinary hay rake. I think it's a 307 but I might have read the tag wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. Does as good a job as my NH 256 under most conditions.

Thanks Doug. Hard to find these things, around here, at least.
Does yours barely clear the ground when it's all the way up? Mine hangs the basket so low the teeth will kick up rocks off the road when hooked up to my H or M.
Thinking about shortening the link rods between basket and height adjusters. Otherwise, I really like the thing.

It seems to crank up fairly normal. perhaps not as high as the 256, but high enough as to not cause problems. Not too many of them around. Saw one at an auction that was dressed up as a mpls Moline, but was identical to the oliver. I knew the guy I was bidding against so let him have it.

Thought I'd reply back, for reference. These are a BCA 8821 bearing. Hard to find, but I was able to get them through a bearing house in Omaha.
