Big Bee Groomer

If you are cutting nothing but grass then keep it
Sharpe, you will just have to check the blade from
time to time, all depends on how much you use the
tool.

But if you are cutting brush with some small trees,
heavy stuff like most of us do then you do not want
a Sharpe edge as it will cut the stobs off clean and
puncture your tire next time you mow.

A Sharpe pointed stob will puncture a tire like you
would not believe.

I bought new rear tires for my TO35 Ferguson this
year, the tire dealer said if you are going to do
much Bush hogging I would rather have the tires you
took off, hate to ruin a new tire.

ok so if not maintainig golf course every 3 to 6 month..I cut bout 4 acres.. and i never pick up limbs and stuff....lol. Thanks

this is a picture of my little hog.

main thing to check each use is the bolts and nuts holding the blades onto the stump jumper and that the big nut holding the stump jumper to the gear box had the proper cotter key and nut still in good order.

my friend was hogging I the woods and one of his blades came off, loud noise and it when about 20ft out and hit a tree. good thing it did not get him or the rear tractor tire.

be careful, a rotary cutter and a chain saw are about the two most dangerous things a good old boy can use around the farm.

Mine is a finish mower... I dont cut anyting higher that about 4 inches... Just the yard i would normally use riding mower on

I have a 60" Big Bee finish mower.
I sharpen the blades a couple of times a year during the summer. I do mow little sticks and hit a rock occasionally. I'm not looking to get a golf course looking yard. Just keep the vegetation at bay. I mow every week or so; 3 acres.
