Differences in JD 810 & 813 moldboard plows?

Anyone know the differences in the JD plow models 810,810A 812,813 & 814 other than the number of bottoms? I found some tailwheel and coulter mounting variations but that's about it. I know yr built has a bearing on model #. I also saw the option for increased trip back bottoms on the 810 & 810A.
Thanks,Jim

The 812,13, and 14 plows were built to mount on the old 800 series hitches. The biggest diffrence is the lenth of the frame where the coulter for the front bottom mounts. The 812, 13, and 14 used a regular coulter shank and a longer frame beam to properly place the front coulter. The 810 series plows had to shorten the frame in this area to provide clearance for the remote valve housing on the 20 and 30 series tractors when the plow was raised. The front coulter shank has a longer offset on these plows to properly place the front coulter. It is not a hard job to cut the frame on the older plows to make them work on newer tractors. So its not uncomon to find them with the beam shortened.
