BLUE-SPRED lime/fertilizer spreader

Looking for some documentation on this spreader we picked up at auction, but can find absolutely zero on the internet.

Sticker on the hopper says "BLUE-SPRED series C-5020 or C-5035"

A manual would be ideal, but even some basic operating instructions would be better than nothing. Thanks a bunch.

I did not find any information on your spreader.

You might just run your own test: add a set weight of fertilizer to the spreader, set your pto rpm and forward speed.

Run machine until bend is empty: measure width and length of ground covered.

I realize this method is very red neck, but at this point, unless you can find a similar scale this may be the best you can do. Run two or three test at different settings.

I do not understand why there is no data on this spreader?????

There is a chart listed on the spreader, regarding PTO speed and such. I really just wanted some basic instructions as I have not used one before.

I heard that I have to be careful not to forget to turn a lever or open a hatch of some sort before filling it, or I'll have to shovel it out by hand.
