farmhand loader

I am looking for brackets to mount a Dunham lehr model 22 loader on a Ford 6610 series 2 with a cab. Anybody have these that they would like to sell? I think any 5000 or 6000 series Ford would work. Thanks.

A model 22 just used a generic front plate and two pipes welded to flat plates didn't they? Is that what you're looking for? I don't remember ever seeing any mounts that were custom made for one particular model. This one was on a 3010 Deere before I put it on this Oliver. I just had to weld some plate to the rear mounts to make them a little bit longer to reach the frame holes.

I do not know for sure what model mine was, a bit older than the 22 but the release latches you could not put it on a tractor with a cab. I think the latches were different on the 22 but harder to operate. 3 cylinder 4000 and 5000 are close in style and 6000 is an entirely dillerent story, they were a 6 cylinder industrial engine with frame rails to hold the front axle, the others did not use a frame rail. The back mount bolted up from the botom of the trany or clutch housing, too long to remember for sure. U shaped heavy flat steel plate with the mounting pipes welded to side and the front mount bolted to where the front weights would and was a U shape to recieve the front end mounting cross member.. Don,t knoe how the 6610 was made. I had 2 of the 4000 with 38" wheels and a 5000.

Just noticed heading Farmhand loader, the Farmhand and Dunham were no way connected and entirely different.

There are custom mounts made for them. I bought a new set from a local Agco dealer several years ago for a Oliver 1650. I also have a set of the custom mounts for the 4020 type John Deere tractors. The 2 sets are totally different. By the way, that Oliver set is for sale.

(quoted from post at 12:09:53 01/29/14) Farmhand bought out Dunham some years ago. The model 22 Farmhand is the old Dunham loader.
Doug, you are correct!
Also they do offer a one piece Mount setup specific to the tractor as well as a universal mount!
I saw pictures of the one piece mount when I bought my 22, but when the dealer mounted it on my 5610-2 they used the universal mount that consists of the nose bracket and a separate under belly mount setup that has some adjustment built in.

Here's some pictures of a Farmhand 22 loader on my 5610-2.
This is the universal mount kit that I spoke of in my earlier post.
Not the best pictures in the world! HTH, Dave

Dave, that is the type mount I am looking for on your 5610. I still
am not sure if that will work with my cab and fuel tank under the
cab. But willing to try if I can find one.

Are your Oliver brackets the same as the one's in the pictures of Dave's 5610. Thanks.

Been looking at photos of cab tractors, and don't think it will work for you! It appears that the pads, that the mount bolts to, are back of the cab front and behind the fuel tank! I can take some measurements tomorrow if that will help you
Dave!

No, they are different. They are two piece mounts. They bolt to a pad, with existing tapped holes, on each side of the tractor

LDP, I took a measurement from the front of the casting, where the front mount bolts on, back to the rear side of the loader frame tower. It is 49 inches. That does not allow for the clamp bolt on the loader frame either. If you don't have at least 52" from front of tractor to front of cab, that 22 loader is prolly not going to work for you anyway!

I measured mine from front support to closest part of cab and
got 48". I thought that I could move the loader forward and
space out the front loader bracket a few inches if I had to. But I
won't know until I get the brackets. Thanks for measuring
yours.
