Gleaner K and F

Does anyone know what the length, width and height of these combines are so I know if they will fit in my building. Thanks Paul.

I've owned an F, f2, and now F3. Each one got taller & longer. Depends a bit on the options, tire options, etc. are you asking for an F specifically, or the whole lineup inccluding F2 long shoe? If an F, with or without a cab, bin extension?

For length, with or without a header?

gets kinda confusing right? :)

My F & F2 fit in a 11 foot high door _just_ barely. As in, had to be caregful if there was mud or snow on the ground, would scrape. Had to let the air out of the F3 tires to fit it in.

Gleaner K Dimensions

Height to top of cab: 128.5"

Height to top of grain bin w/o extensions: 113.3"

Width outside to outside on drive tires: 90.9" Best add another foot to width for the ladder.

Width with 13' header attached: 173.0"

Length overall w/o head: 200.8"

Length overall with head attached: 263.0"

Don't have an F book on hand, sorry!!

A K will be a good 100 acre machine for you, if you can buy one right. I've harvested many more acres annually than that with one.

Hope this helps!!

The whole line up if you have it,with cab and 13' head, without bin extensionand length with header and without, with average size tires. Thanks Paul

Paul,

My K has the standard 14.9 X 26 drive tires, and runs with the rims reversed to run on 90" centers, for 30" rows. Also has an optional long rear axle on 90" centers as well. The dimensions I gave you are straight from the book. I've never been around a K2, so I can't speak for them from personal experience, but I suspect they have a longer cleaning shoe, just like the F2 and F3, compared to a F, so the machine would be somewhat longer, and possibly taller. I'm blessed with having two good sized sheds with tall, wide doors, so fitting has never been a problem. I still have my K, it's not worth enough in this area to even make good trading stock, but its a good little combine. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!!

FWIW, if needed, I have the specs for K,F,K2,F2, as well as the M2 and L2. Maybe the better half knows how to use the scanner- hasn"t worked decently since new!

Do you still have some of those specs available? The first four machines are what I'd be interested in. I'll continue looking. Thanks,
