Two choices, pound them out or use a press and press them out.

When you "set" a rivet, they swell to fill the hole. They will pound out but be sure to use a punch only slightly smaller than the rivet diameter. If you use too small of a punch, you continue to swell the rivet stem and you will not get it out. You can also use heat and then quench with water to thermally shock the rivet before pounding.

Good luck!

I center punch the rivet and then drill them with a 1/8" drill or so. This seems to relax their grip on the hub, so you can pound them out easier with a regular punch.

I grind the heads off with an angle head grinder, then punch them out.Go back with either rivets or bolts/locknuts.

Ever price a new complete unit, disk, hub, bearing ready to install? Generally go on sale in the spring. Might be surprised how reasonable they are....Ron
