ISO Wheels for McCormick Deering No. 7

I am working on a McCormick Deering No. 7. I am not doing a full restoration, I'm only trying to get it back up and running. The only thing I still lack is a pair of steel wheels. Mine have a 1.5" dia. axle hold that is keyed. The wheel hub is 4" deep. Mine have (M2378) stamped on them. I think these are correct for this model, only the outsides of mine were destroyed. If anyone has these anywhere in KS or OK or MO, I would love to pick them up for a decent price. Or if anyone has any retrofit ideas for using other wheels, I would appreciate that information as well. Thanks.
 
I have seen the outside rim cut off the spokes and an old truck rim welded on if I remember right it was a 20in rim
 
Is it the outside of the hubs that were destroyed or the rim? Do you have any of the pieces? Wheels are welded all the time and replacement lugs are avaible for when they are wore enough you loose traction. And I know where there probably would be wheels avaible but they are in Indiana and wheels depending on model generaly run about 75$ each. And if the rim is what is bad then there is the option of welding on other rims and if you want to keep it on steel I could get new rims for that.

My hubs are fine. Just like the other person said, my rims were cut off and the spokes were shortened so a truck rim could be welded to the spokes which allowed them to use rubber tires. I suppose I could take the same approach and weld on some new rims, but I would much rather find the original steel wheels to make it period correct. I have started scouring small farms on country roads in my area on the weekends. I have come very close. I found a great set of wheels for a no.6, but they are quite different. I might drive an hour north to our Amish community, but I won't give $75 ea. for these things. That's insane if you ask me for something so old.
