Gehl 3610 alternator/regulator ??

Hello everyone,
I have a Gehl 3610 diesel skidloader. It has a 3 cyl. Isuzu diesel engine. My question is that the new battery I put in it is not staying charged. I have to put the battery charger on it to start it when needed. According to my parts manual the alternator and regulator are 2 separate components. I have a Prestolite alternator. I never heard of Prestolite. Can it be cross referenced a delco remy model? My alternator number from the parts manual is 803540 and regulator number is 075863. Are these available at local parts stores? I tried one chain parts store with no luck. Are these dealer only parts? Any help or suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

Not sure where you got that 803540 not even a Gehl part number? There is a serial number breaks better look at the parts book again. Should be part# 075863 alternator with regulator. Both later and earlier 3610's use the same alternator.
You could take alternator to a rebuilders and have it fixed.

Prestolite alternators are NOT uncommon in heavy truck or industrial applications.

i believe i would check out the regulator first though if it is indeed seperate
