Looks like (on that tractor), the plow hitch is too low. The 2 vertical flat plates that mount to plow hitch to the plow frame can be adjusted to a higher setting.. Would be a good idea to reverse that cylinder, so the main body will not move every time you drop or raise the plow..

Nice find..!!

Ron.

Thanks for the help. I was having some problems with it behind the tractor it is hooked up to right now, of course it is a 53 HP tractor; I think that is a little too low but my wife wanted me to get out there and at least try.

I used my Oliver 1755 a couple years ago with this plow and hardly knew I was pulling something, it worked great. But unfortunately right now my 1755 needs a ton of work.

Thanks again.

Maybe not much work.

53 horse, on a 3x14" should be more than plenty.. I have pulled 4x16 well, with a 48 horse JD 630 in well established Alfalfa/Jack-Wax..

It is pretty easy to swing those front (plow) hitch mounts to a higher position..just get the bolts loose is about all..

I could see in the picture what I thought was some of your plowing and figured I would add my .02 ...

Have fun, plowing is generally relaxing..!! Ron.
