allis corn planter

I looked at 3-point 2 row corn planter this morning that appeared(painted orange) to be an AC planter in almost new condition. I found no tag on the planter. It had the drive sprockets for the seed boxes on the rear axle between the pack wheels with drive chain going to driven shaft for both seed cans. The seed cans were galvanized in new condition. It had a 3-point tool bar that bolted with one bolt in the center to planter frame. Can any tell me the model, post a picture and tell me if AC and John Deere seed plates are the same.

Thanks

to use John Deere plates in an Allis Chalmers planter you need an adapter that goes in the center of the plate. Allis drives their plates from the center, so the adapter fits on the center and the edges hook on to the JD plate.
The adapters use to be yellow I don't know if they still are or not. I don't know anything about model number of the Allis planting units

OK! Thanks. If the plates are driven from center, this must not be an AC. The drive is a ratchet type circular gear toward the outside of the seed box.
