Another cyclo corn planter question...

On the Cyclo 800 air planter we have a box installed in the tractor for the automatic row marker control. Just installed it in the tractor, it has a good hot lead and I still need to check the ground. With the planter NOT connected, should the lights on the box come on when I work the toggle switch between the two settings? Just trying to make sure it works before I hook on and start testing the planter.

It started snowing/raining like crazy so we had to come in.

needs to have ground connected to tractor.
I believe the ground is on the wiring harness.
