Can someone tell me how to replace the bearing in a single opening disk. It's a Model B.

If it is the same style as my single-disk B you have to drill out the rivets joining the housing to the disk to get to the bearing. Instead of re-riveting mine I used pan head screws to put it back together.

I also use small bolts/screws on similar appications.Only use lock nuts and no lock washers.Reg nuts and locks will come lose.Better still is to put a tack weld on the threads.

JDparts shows this for the brg(parts key #14)
The part M60726 is no longer available. Contact your local John Deere dealer for other options.
Then it showed this substitution which is anti-friction brg type disk in 2nd photo.
