530 round baler question?

Just got this baler and was wondering about the tie system. How do I tell if it's electric or hydroulic?

Wires or hoses should give you a clue.

Have two hydro lines and electric lines.

The tying is activated by hydraulics, but is not from tractor hydraulics. Baler has its own pump to operate the tying arm. It is located on right side of baler if looking at baler from rear to front. I think it is a Chevy power steering pump but not sure.

Trace them back- hyd lines should go back to the rear door? Elec would go back to the twine arm/control? Years ago I had a New Idea round baler....hyd door, and the twine control was just mechanical, but had a hyd cyl to send it back and forth, IIRC. Forgot about that- it"s been over a decade.

Ditto what Bob stated. All the electric wires/switches do is to let the monitor box know what's happening. Bale diameter size can be set from 3' to 6'.
