I've seen netwrap shop installed on a JD 530 rd baler but I think it would be impractical to try such a feat on a 510. Take out a loan using your wife & kids as collateral and get you a 530 or better yet a 535. You be so happy that you upgraded you'll even pay the mortgage on the WIFEY  Netwrap requires a monitor & wiring harness to control operation which a 510 LACKS. 530/535 and later balers are LIGHT YEARS ahead of a 510. Sounds like you have made up your mind to ruin a now working baler. I know about tight funds so lets compromise and just use plastic twine. That 510 can get you by as it is. They are finicky and lightly built. We bought one new and it was more worn out after 6,000 bales than the Vermeer we traded for and put 30,000 bales through. Biggest issue why your idea won't work is compression roll in front and floor belts instead of a roller. Good luck
