Got a Little Giant and would like to put a PTO on it Can it come off either side and do I just need a slip type of shaft any support or carrier needed. Thanks

You have to determine which side you run on by the rotation of the pto shaft. They are clockwise facing the end of the shaft.

Check it, but I think the shaft must be on the left side facing the hitch looking to the out put end. We switched the shaft side to side one time for tractor clearance, it ran backwards!

You need to figure out few things first off. One is which way is the current motor setup to spin. Does this match the way the PTO will spin. Also, gearing comes to mind here. Not that any tractor will have a problem running an elevator, but what I would worry about is running it too fast. There is some figuring you need to do if it isn't setup for PTO right now.
