Re: Belt Lacer

Not even close. I've got three or four of the darned things around here. Nicest one I ever saw belonged to a dealer. He had it in the late 70s when I bought my first round baler. It was in legs, had a long handle and cam setup that you just rolled over part way. When he sold out a guy out east of town bought it for something like $150 at the auction. Then when he sold out another guy just north of me bought it for about half that. My best one has two handles and a ratchet deal, will lace six inch belts. A neighbor had two and sold me that one for something like $20.

That lacer is for conveyor belting. You should be able to easily get your $900 if the right person sees it for sale. You need to make sure and advertise it is for up to 36 inch wide belts. People see Clipper lacer and think it is the small 6 inch ones you use in a vice. They bring $15-20 used.

You need to get it advertised in some publication that goes to rock/quarry companies
