I know this has probably been talked about alot, but i gotta ask one more time to help me make my mind up! I have a 3010 gas J.D. (i know not the best tractor to have, couldn't pass on the deal) decent runner, what would be a good 4x5 round baler for that tractor, without working it to death, and not break the bank. Model and year not real important.Something simple and easy to use.

KRONE 260 4x5 only has a 40hp minimum requirement.

Only paid $2200 for our baler and our <a href=""http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hO_UjThnxiM&feature=share&list=UU4gFuJx6qHbiK0FRREh2lDw>55 Model 70 Diesel</a> with approximately 50HP powers it at half throttle.

I will probably get run off, but a New Holland 845 chain baler is simple to run and makes about a 650# bale. Make sure the big chain is good if you find one. 3010 gas will handle it fine. Starts a bale easily.

I'll recomend Krone or M&W. I understand M&W used to build the Krone baler. MY M&W is a good dependable old baler.

I wouldn't run ya off. I've got an 846, and it makes a good bale. Takes some practice to make 'em pretty, but they'll never be as pretty as a belt baler. Starts a bale heck of a lot easier though.
