Kuhn 3200GT Drive Gear?

I have a 3200GT that has been making a noise I could not figure out, yesterday I think I have found the source, while raking, the rotary almost stopped, now I believe the source of the noise is the drive gear slipping between it and the ring gear on the top of the rotary table. Has anyone else had this problem, I believe the problem is the drive gear on the PTO is shot, but have to take it a part to be sure. Just wondering if anyone else has had to replace this and how expensive or tough is it to do?

I guess no one else has one of these. It appears that the ring gear is bolted to the rotary table, I wonder if i could shim the ring gear up with some flat fender washers to make a better contact between the drive gear and the ring? I am going to try this and see what happens, it should at least help slow down the slipping between the two.

I found out that who ever messed with this thing before they put it in the auction, obviously knew there were major problems they were covering up, when ordering the new rotor bevel gear, found out that there was a bearing, a spacer, and several shims missing... No wonder it wore out the gear, as it was sitting almost 1/4 inch lower than it is supposed to. Hope all the parts I bought fix it.
