JD 630 Disc problem

I have a 22" JD 630 disc with hydraulic down pressure on the wings. While discing recently the wing on one side was working properly while the other side was pushing too hard. There are no visible oil leaks and the oil lines on the cylinders are hooked in parallel. Is this a control valve problem or cylinder leaking by?

The valve allows you to add down pressure to the wings so they will cut in hard ground. I am wondering if there is an internal leak in the cylinder allowing one side to not hold as much down pressure as the other and if there is a way to test this.

Yes, you can test this. The wing cylinders have two ports. Open up the return port and then fully open your adjusting valve to apply full down pressure. There should be no leakage out of a healthy cylinder. Mike
