JD30 kicker hydraulic presure spikes???

new pump, about 15 hours usage. all other parts in system work fine, control valve for pan, hydraulic regulator(wheel, in control valve, for how hard it kicks. all had been taken apart cleaned out, and new orings, adjustments all set, and regulator botomed out, and backed off per JD manual. Kicker started to not kick as hard as it should, even on highest(towards bottoming of regulator) chattering noise in hydraulic lines. Pumps been at eaton now 4 weeks, they say it has bad center sectin, aluminum rolling over on itself, and gear bushings bad because of high pressure spikes.say pumps full of metal. Yet theres no metal in hydraulic oil anywheres, clear, no silver at all. So ? is, was this just a bad pump they don't want to waaranty? or does the normal spikes, by how the system operates ruin a new pump which should last for years????

Hydarulic shop that i got it thru said maybe someone put washers under regulator to increase pressure. This regulator does not have any washers in it, it uses orfice plates to set/control pressure.

talked to local JD tech tonite, 38+ years experience. He says the regulator is set for a max pressure of 2200PSI +/- 200 PSI. Even if regulator fails to high siide thats max pressure its capable of making. He says the pumps are designed for a max pressure of about 3400PSI. And the system is designed to operate by spiking the pressure to unlatch pan latch and kick cylinder. So eaton is definitely blowing smoke sayig it had high pressure spikes of more than pump was designed to operate at. Beside JD tech says you would know by bales flying way past haywagon, and something else would give before the housing and bearings wore out.
