My 14t baler isn"t knotting. Both sides aren"t knotting its missing both knots. At first it was cutting the string before it ever got to knots. Now it not even making a knot. Could this be my string tension is to lose? Had everything working great last year til someone mess with it.

Any idea what was "messed with"?

Is the twine threaded correctly? (Should be a diagram in the twin box.)

Did you cycle the netters once with the twine tied to the side, so the twine discs in the knotters have grabbed the twine?

Are the needles timed correctly?

I hope you have an Operator's Manual, 'cuz there's a wealth of knotter troubleshooting info there.

Have no manuals. I'm trying to locate some tho. There's no diagram on the baler for the feeding of the string I feed it the way I have always an it seemed to be just fine last summer. None of the timing has been touched far as I'm aware.

IF the twine is cut before the knot it is usually the tucker fingers doing it. I would bet that you do not have the twine ran correctly.

Kruck, Ebay has manuals on your baler. I bought a manual for my 224T there for $15 and free shipping. Can't beat that. Original copy.

Check out "best baler parts . com". Shawn has
DVD"s, videos, and utube on many of the early
JD balers. Maybe you could find some help there.

yes, you need a manual. Possible the bill hook worm drive is sloppy worn and needs adjusting, but you need a manual to figure it out. Good luck.
