coil shank chisel

I have a 10 shank (1x1) sq) JD coil shank chisel plow. I was wondering about how much HP would take to pull it. I have an Farmall M.

Well it all depends on how deep and how fast you want to go with the chisel plow. The old rule of thumb was ten horse power per shank. Your Farmall "M" is rated at about 35 HP. Not even close to what you need for a 10 shank chisel plow.
