"real draw bar" would be the swinging one that attaches to the underside of the tractor, not the 3pt arms.
Post a pic of the back of your tractor...

And yes, a 12 foot 370 might be a wee bit of a load for a 165.

Is a 370 that much heavier than a 37 that I thought the 370 replaced. and a 37 would be a decent match for that tractor.

12' is a lot of disc for that tractor if you get in loose ground or let the disc dig in... Traction would be the biggest limitation with power being a very close second. It's only a 50 horse tractor. If it's got enough tire to get hooked to the ground good in third gear it'll probably get around OK.

If it is anything like the 37 in weight that I had only in a 9' model as a 12' it would not be bad for that tractor as I also had a 13' Kewanee disk and I pulled them with the same size Fords as that tractor is with no problems. My Fords had the 38" wheels with duals though, do not know if he has the 28" or 38" tires or if he has duals.

We used to drag a 10' IH 37 behind a Ford 5610 that has 10 hp on the 165. It worked it hard at 4.5 mph in loose ground. If you're just dragging it around on hard ground... that's a different thing entirely... but buried to gang bolts... I don't think the 165 is going to do much with 12' of disc... 38's or otherwise.

The 165 has 38" tires no duals, this tractor should handle the 12' disk, I will keep you posted, now it's off to work on getting the remote hydraulics to work!!! Whoopieee Cheers,
